Informations- und Strategietreffen gegen Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan und für ein Bleiberecht für afghanische Flüchtlinge
Liebe Freund_innen, liebe Interessierte,
wir laden Sie/Euch herzlich zur Schwerpunktsitzung gegen Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan und für ein Bleiberecht für afghanische Flüchtlinge des Flüchtlingsrats Brandenburg ein. Seit Dezember sind aus Deutschland 60 Menschen nach Afghanistan abgeschoben worden – unter breitem Protest von Politik und Gesellschaft. Die Abschiebungen in ein Kriegsgebiet sind das Ergebnis von politischen Entscheidungen und Verhandlungen mit der afghanischen Regierung. Ein aktueller UNHCR Bericht zeigt jedoch, dass es keine sicheren Regionen in Afghanistan gibt. Dennoch hält Bundesinnenminister De Maizière an seiner harten Linie fest, Abschiebungen konsequent durchzusetzen.
Brandenburg hat sich bisher an den Sammelabschiebungen nicht beteiligt. Gleichzeitig hat sich die Landesregierung nicht grundsätzlich gegen Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan ausgesprochen. Auch gibt es aus Brandenburg kein Signal, Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan vorläufig auszusetzen, wie es jetzt in Schleswig Holstein, Berlin, Bremen, Niedersachsen und Rheinland-Pfalz beschlossen wurde. Das bedeutet, dass Menschen aus Afghanistan weiterhin in großer Unsicherheit leben, darunter viele begleitete und unbegleitete Kinder- und Jugendliche.
Für das Informations- und Strategietreffen ist Folgendes geplant:
1. Informationen gegen die Unsicherheit Zusammen mit Inken Stern, Rechtsanwältin für Asyl- und Aufenthaltsrecht, wollen wir Fragen klären, die für viele afghanische Menschen aus Brandenburg und ihre Unterstützer_innen wichtig sind: Wie sieht die derzeitige Entscheidungspraxis und der Umgang des BAMF und der Ausländerbehörden mit afghanischen Flüchtlingen aus? Wie kann ich meinen Aufenthalt sichern trotz der Ablehnung meines Asylantrages? Wer ist derzeit von Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan bedroht? Wer nicht? Was können wir gegen Abschiebungen tun? Wo kann ich Unterstützung erhalten?
2. Gemeinsam aktiv gegen Abschiebungen In einem zweiten Teil wollen wir gemeinsam Forderungen entwickeln und Aktionen in Brandenburg planen, um gegen Abschiebungen nach Afghanistan vorzugehen. Wir wollen uns vernetzen, politische Strategien diskutieren und konkrete weitere Schritte planen.
Bei Vorlage der Originaltickets können Fahrtkosten erstattet werden. Es wird eine Dari-Übersetzung geben – bitte meldet euch spätestens bis zum 20.02.2017, wenn ihr eine Übersetzung in andere Sprachen wünscht!

Dear friends,
we would like to invite you to the information event and action planning meeting to oppose deportation to Afghanistan and demand a right to stay for Afghan refugees hosted by Flüchtlingsrat Brandenburg.
Since December 2016, 60 people have been deported from Germany to Afghanistan. The two charter-deportations were strongly and loudly criticized by politicians and the general public. This critique also mirrors the latest UNHCR report that suggests that there are no save regions within Afghanistan. However, in spite of the public resistance and the UNHCR report, minister of the interior Thomas De Maizière sticks to his hard line and demands further deportation to the war zone Afghanistan.
Until now, Brandenburg did not take part in the charter-deportations to Afghanistan. At the same time, the Brandenburg government has not publicly declared their opposition to deportations of Afghan people. Unlike other German states such as Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin, Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Platinate, the Brandenburg government has not declared a complete halt to deportations to Afghanistan. Thus, the government leaves Afghan refugees in a limbo, among them many accompanied and unaccompanied minors.
Structure of the meeting:
1. Information against the fear We are happy to welcome lawyer Inken Stern, who currently represents many Afghan refugees. She will provide an insight into following topics and questions: What are the current decision-making practices of BAMF and the Ausländerbehörden in Brandenburg concerning the cases of Afghan refugees? How can I secure my residence in Germany even though my application for asylum had been rejected? Who is at risk of deportation an who is not? What can we do against deportation? Where can we get support?
2. Taking action against deportation We want to articulate our demands, discuss strategies and plan actions to oppose deportation to Afghanistan. We want to build a network in Brandenburg and decide on concrete next steps to be taken.
If you bring your original train ticket we can refund the travel costs. There will be a Dari translation. If you need translation into any other language, let us know until 20th of February.
